Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar is much more than a tourist spot. Recognized worldwide and inserted in a Conservation Unit, the complex formed by Urca Hill and Sugarloaf has several attractions for visitors to enjoy, as well as varied angles of landscapes of our Rio de Janeiro – which ah… is still beautiful!

The first trip takes you from Red Beach to Urca Hill, 220 meters high. Then, it’s time to go to the highest point, at 396 meters, Sugarloaf Mountain. But with so many options, do you know what the special points are to guarantee the best photos? Today we tell you! See below 5 photo points of Parque Bondinho with angle tips to capture the record.

1. Tram Square (Praça dos Bondes): the heart

As soon as you arrive at Urca Hill, just to the left, you have the Tram Square (Praça dos Bondes). In a place that brings together history, with original trams from 1912 and 1972, and two sculptures of big names involved in the creation of the place, you will find the Heart. This one is special for those who don’t miss an Instagrammable. Position yourself behind it and guarantee your photo with nature in the background.

2 – Garden of Discos (Jardim dos Discos)

Continuing your tour, you arrive at Garden of Discos (Jardim dos Discos). The place, which has some stalls with food options, has a view of the entire Botafogo cove and the extension of Guanabara Bay. In the background, you can still admire Christ the Redeemer. Position yourself close to the Esculture of Parque Bondinho and guarantee your registration with this beautiful background of Rio, including the Helipad from where flights take off from Urca Hill.

3 – Fortaleza de São João Viewpoint (Mirante Fortaleza de São João)

Go further ahead and, right after the Amphitheater, you will have a ramp that leads to EBG – Espaço Baía de Guanabara, a place that looks like a food court. But the tip is this: the model in the photo must go up for the EBG to go to the corner, near the small tables next to the Flamengo kiosk. The photographer, on the other hand, must position himself before the ramp. There, he will be able to frame the model and the Sugarloaf Mountain in the background. It’s a super different photo spot and the result is incredible!

4 – Guardian da Pedra Viewpoint (Mirante Guardião da Pedra)

One of the best-known photo spots is the Mirante Guardião da Pedra. In it, you guarantee your iconic photo with the Sugarloaf Mountain in the background. It is located right outside the EBG and is usually a popular place for photos. Now, here’s a tip: the model should position herself close to the corner and the photographer, close to the guardrail, for a depth effect. This tip leaves your record with a background full of nature, as well as Sugarloaf Mountain, which will shine along with you

5 – Giant’s Viewpoint (Mirante do Gigante)

At Pão de Açúcar, go down the stairs on the right and reach Giant’s Viewpoint, one of the most beautiful views of the complex: you will have the cable car going down right next to you and, in the background, the entire length of Copacabana beach and others in the Zone South. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this landscape! Position yourself at a certain distance to be able to frame a good part of the landscape in your photo.

Did you like the 5 photo spots at Parque Bondinho and the tips on how to ensure the best photos? Now just plan your trip and leave your cell phone well charged! But don’t worry if your battery runs out, we have Energy2Go battery banks at EBG for you or free chargers at the cable car stations. Buy your ticket now on the website and #borafotografar!
